How would I go about removing an old radio and installing a new one in a 2001 Chevy 1500 pickup?

simple can be done in less than 5 min. take off the IP panel then it should be four, 7 MM screws that hold it in place take off the two connectors in the back then just replace it. BUT, there is a big but. you have to reprogram it, it will stay locked until it is reprogrammed. a dealership should only charge you like half an hours labor, to reprogram. hope i get the best answer bc i didnt leave anything out.
