How much money could i get for a 1970 Mercedes 220 D?

January 5th, 2011 · No Comments

I’m looking to sell my 1970 Mercedes 220 Diesel, and am looking for an average price i could sell it for. it is in very good condition, except for a small spot of rust near the front passenger side wheel well. Otherwise everything is in good condition. i just replaced the Master Cylinder, Calipers, Break Booster, Muffler, and glow plugs. can anyone give me an estimate?

- The problem with your question is that used car prices are not universal. Also, a used car (or anything used for that matter) is only worth what a person is willing to pay for it. You may have this car appraised at $15000 but that doesn’t mean that you will actually get that amount from a potential buyer.
- The value of your 40 year old MBz 220 Diesel depends on where you are, the condition of your MBz, the accumulated mileage, the maintenance records, the overall appearance of the car including the paint and interior, etc. Be shure that whoever wants to buy your car, gets a chance to drive it for at least 1/2 hour.
You could expect to get between $1K and $10K depending on condition and where you reside.
