OPERATION Tailgate Closed – Inward Position – With the tailgate closed, the Bed X-Tender can be positioned inward to secure small cargo in truck bed. (Figure 1) Tailgate Open – Outward Position – With tailgate open, rotate the Bed X-Tender outward until it rests on the tailgate. (Figure 2) When driving, secure the Bed X-Tender to the tailgate by locking the buckles into the tailgate latches on each side. (Figure 3)

INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL
Installation – Rotate the Bed X-Tender to a vertical position. Slide the pivot pins into the mounting brackets on each side. (Figure 4) Rotate the Bed X-Tender horizontal until it rests on the tailgate. Secure the Bed X-Tender to the tailgate with two supplied strap buckles. (Figure 3)
Removal – First, release the Bed X-Tender strap buckles by releasing the tailgate handle. (Figure 3) Rotate the Bed X-Tender to a vertical position, then lift straight up and lift out. (Figure 4)
