This adapter allows you to install a 2001-2004 LS6 intake manifold on a 1998-2000 LS1 Camaro and Firebird and still retain full EGR functionality. This allows you to get the power gains of the LS6 manifold while still being able to pass emissions testing and not have to have custom calibration work done.

Included with this kit:
• LPE EGR adapter
• Loctite 587 RTVSilicone Gasket
• Installation Instructions
Tools required:
• scribe or other sharp, pointed object
• Dremel tool or similar tool

Installation:
Temporaily install the adapter into your LS6 intake manifold. You will be removing the adapter from the intake so make sure you don’t force it in such that you can’t get it back out. You only need it to be far enough in so that you can scribe on the intake the area that needs to be removed for the EGR tube. Once you have installed the adapter, scribe the outline of the hole at the bottom of the adapter. Now remove the adapter from the intake. You can install the bolt in the adapter to help pull the adapter out if it is difficult to remove. Now remove the material inside the circle that you scribed into the intake.
