The RSM (Rev Speed Meter) is a multi function measuring device designed to measure and monitor vehicle speed, RPM, 0-400m time, mid range acceleration, estimated horsepower, as well as acceleration G.(Using optional G Sensor)
- Easy to Read VFD (Vacuum Fluorescent Display)
The RSM utilizes and easy to read VFD screen in a highly stylish case which also complements the cockpit interior.
Due to the 3 row 7 segment LED screen used on the previous model, we were only able to display a limited amout of information on screen. Now with the new dot matrix VFD screen, we are able to display multiple types of data in multiple for mats. In addition, we are also able to display the data in graph mode, and analog modes to ensure that the driver is properly informed.

Swapping US V8 engines into Mercedes 350SL/380SL/450SL
April 18th, 2009 · No Comments
Putting an American V8 Engine into a Mercedes 107 Chassis
Most owners find a 450SL’s power to be “adequate.” It’s a heavy car for its size, though, and it’s stately rather than aggressive or impressive in its acceleration. In additon, the high cost of an engine rebuild leads many to consider swapping in an American V8 as an alternative to having their 4.5 liter V8 rebuilt when the time comes for a rebuild. “So why aren’t engine swaps more frequently done?”

IRS Polyurethane Subframe Bushing Kit
April 16th, 2009 · No Comments
Thank you for purchasing Maximum Motorsports’ Polyurethane IRS Subframe Bushing Kit. This kit is intended for use on the 1999-2004Cobra IRS subframe. The polyurethane bushings in this kit are considerably less compliant than the stock rubber IRS subframe bushings. These stiffer bushings virtually eliminate displacement of the IRS subframe relative to the chassis, thus improving stability and predictability of the car during acceleration, braking and cornering. The polyurethane still provides very good noise isolation. 1979-98 cars fitted with IRS require MMIRSU-2 bushing kit.

Aprilia Falco Clutch Replacement
February 13th, 2009 · No Comments
At approximately 6,000 miles, I began noticing clutch slip at high 2nd gear loads. Over the next 1,500 miles, it got worse, until the clutch would break free in second and third under any hard acceleration.
At this time, Aprilia considers this a consumable item and doesn’t cover the clutch under warranty. Fortunately, at $160 list (I paid $144) for the entire clutch kit, it is reasonably priced. Even better, it is very easy to replace. Still, please ask your dealer to bring early clutch failure to the attention of Aprilia. If enough of us complain, maybe they’ll redesign it.

The LPE C5 Corvette battery relocation kit improves vehicle weight distribution by moving weight to the rear of the vehicle. The improved weight distribution increases traction for better acceleration along with providing improved handling and braking. The installed kit safely mounts the battery in the rear storage well of the Corvette and, in those applications equipped with the storage well cover, fits under the existing rear storage well cover for a clean and stock appearance.
