Electric generators are potentially lethal if not used properly. There is a very real risk of injuring or killing someone working on power lines with an improperly connected generator. Homeowners should know the correct way to use a backup generator for their home. This page will explain how a generator transfer panel is properly installed. It will alert you to potential dangers and provide some insight on the workings of electricity. You will understand better the reasoning behind the need of a transfer panel instead of a simple double male extension cord. It is not my intent to encourage homeowners to make wiring changes, but rather to provide information which will promote safe and proper generator use. In many areas, you are required by law to obtain a permit and have a licensed electrician make any electrical changes .

KD-NX5000 HDD Navigation/DVD Receiver Instructions

Hard Disk Drive (HDD) Installation
This unit has a built-in HDD, which is a device to read minute magnetic changes. The inside of the device is precision components, requiring you to notice the following when installing the unit:
Install the unit at a place where the following conditions are satisfied:
• Dry and neither too hot nor too cold— between 5°C and 35°C. If the temperature is too low, the HDD will not work. Wait until the temperature in thecar becomes normal before operating the unit.
• At an altitude between –300 m below sea level and +3000 m above sea level.
• With adequate ventilation to prevent internal heat buildup in the unit.

Ford Focus PRO-FIT Linear Fuel Doors – Installation Instructions

Do not perform this install near a flame source due to the risk of fire or explosion from gas fumes. Use a jack to lift rear of vehicle. Remove the passenger side rear tire. Remove the wheel well cover to expose the fuel filler neck behind the quarterpanel.
Note: For manual locking or manual non-locking fuel doors, do steps 1-4 only. For electric locking fuel doors, do all steps.

2003 - 2006 Chevrolet Silverado1500 & GMC Sierra 1500 Trucks Supercharger Installation

1. Exercise extreme caution and common sense when working around gasoline. Extinguish all open flame or other sources of ignition and be sure to perform the following steps in an area with adequate ventilation. Personal protection in the form of eye protection and fuel resistant gloves are strongly recommended.
2. On the right (passenger) side of the intake manifold, locate the fuel pressure test port. CAUTION! The fuel in the system is under pressure! Relieve the pressure in the fuel system by depressing the check valve with a screwdriver and collecting the fuel with a shop towel.

2003-2006 Radix Hummer H2 & SUT Supercharger Installation Instructions

1. Start the supercharger installation by installing the upgraded fuel pump. Ensure that the fuel tank is less than 1/8” full (preferably empty) by checking the fuel level gauge. Even though the gauge may read empty, some residual fuel will be present in the tank. Exercise extreme caution and common sense when working around gasoline. Extinguish all open flame or other sources of ignition and be sure to perform the following steps in an area with adequate ventilation. Personal protection in the form of eye protection and fuel resistant gloves are strongly recommended.

1997-2003 Chevrolet C5 Corvette High Flow C5 Fuel Pump Module

This high flow fuel pump module fits 1997 to 2003 model year Chevrolet Corvettes. During the 2003
model year GM made a change to the Corvette fuel system. This module will not fit the later 2003
vehicles. The 2003 model year C5 fuel system change over occurred on November 25, 2002. If your
car was built on or after this day, you have the newer fuel system and this module will not work in your
vehicle. If your car is a 2003 model year car and the last six (6) digits of VIN are 114930 or higher, you
have the newer fuel system and this module will not fit your vehicle. Look at page 3 of the instructions
for a picture of the 1997 to early 2003 model year fuel tank design (as seen from under the vehicle).
