NOTE: Read all instructions before starting any work.
1. Remove the O.E. front pipe/muffler/tail pipe assembly from the vehicle. Lubricate the rubber isolators with WD-40, or a similar lubricant, to aid in removing the rod hangers. The O.E. system will not come off in one piece. Cut the system between the rear axle and the muffler. Both pieces will then come off easily.
2. Install DynoMax front intermediate pipe 54374. Insert the rod hanger into the rubber isolator on the RH frame. Finger tighten the nuts on the inlet flange connection to the converter pipe.

Exhaust System Removal:
1. Measure the exhaust pipe 7-1/2 inches forward of the rear axle and mark a line.
2. Using a saw or chain style pipe cutter, cut the stock system.
3. Using a 15 mm socket remove the two flange nuts.
4. Remove the front hanger from the rubber isolator and remove the front section of the stock exhaust system.

With the vehicle finished and on the ground, measure a straight line between the transfer case output yoke and the rear pinion yoke center mating flanges. (Fig. A)
For proper C.V. type drive shaft operation, the rear differential should be pointed at the transfer case output yoke under normal driving load.
