The AEM Hybrid Intake System is the result of extensive development on a wide variety of hybrid cars. Each system is engineered for the particular application. The AEM Hybrid Intake System differs from all others in several ways. AEM has conducted extensive inlet air temperature studies and we have seen temperature reductions of up to 50 degrees by pulling air from outside of the engine compartment. The air mass flow to the engine is increased because of the increased airflow and reduced inlet temperature, which translates to more power. Time and Ease: Medium difficulty ­ 1­2 hours Tools/Supplies: Wire cutters/strippers, small rotary tool (Dremel), screwdriver, 10 or 15 amp inline fuse, 12v marine outlet with extra wire (Walmart), end connectors that will fit around your battery terminals
Step 1 ­ Open your glove box and locate the dimple or hole in the middle, where the outlet is already on the Forza version. (see photo section) Step 2 ­ If there is a hole already, try fitting the outlet in it. Doesn’t fit or no hole? Try grinding out some of the plastic with a Dremel or rotary tool. BE CAREFUL! You don’t want to grind out too much.

Be sure to test the heaters to make sure they work properly before going to the trouble of installing them. I just connected them to my battery terminals to do a quick test. This should only take a couple minutes and is a worthwhile precaution. Additionally, I would recommend getting some upholstery hog rings and hog pliers. These can be purchased as a package from JCWhitney for about $4-5.

This FAQ deals with the electrical problems that can be present in a hard-to-start Suzuki Marauder VZ800. This does not address all the problems that may be present with a non-starting Marauder. It requires a certain number of tools to troubleshoot a slow or non-starting bike. Among them are a multi-meter, jumper wires and a can of contact cleaner. Contact cleaners are generally flammable. Do not get the contact cleaner on your paint or on your skin. Clean connectors before putting them back together.

Attach sticker on drivers-side door beam (B-pillar); the sticker is found as an instruction contained in the very front of the owner information packet. Cross out the instruction after attaching the sticker. Attach sticker “Your next service event” : - Service sticker “Your next service event” : Mark Oil change service or Inspection service (whichever is the case next) with a cross and enter date / mile / kilometer reading; if necessary, also mark with a cross additional work to be performed (e.g. replace toothed belt) and brake fluid service and enter date / mile / kilometer reading service interval 01-4
