Step 1: Install Bulkhead Adapter
A. Remove the forward upper Tie Down Brackets.
B. Remove the two (2) upper Bedrail bolts per side.
C. Remove the three (3) upper Bulkhead bolts.
Step 2: Installing Mounting Flanges on Bedrails and Bulkhead
Note: Notice that two sizes of metric bolts have been provided. The four (4) large 8mm x 40mm bolts are to be used in the forward positions of the Track Mounting Flanges where the tiedown brackets were removed. The seven (7) smaller 6mm x 40mm bolts are to be used in all the other locations.

The wiring of the Back Up Light system is very simple and straightforward. Each unit has 3 wires that must be wired to your vehicle to make the unit operate. The red wire needs to be connected to a 12 volt source. The yellow wire needs to be connected to the back up light wire of the vehicle. The black wire needs to connected to ground.

The center position of the fanfare horns and airbag clock spring contact (A45) is crucial for the trouble-free function of the airbag system and signaling system. In the removed condition, the position is ensured by the mounting screws (32h).
If contact spiral is twisted, however, e.g.
- When the steering coupling is removed
- When the retaining bolts are fully unscrewed then the center position must be found as follows:

Removing steering column switch
Driver’s side airbag unit and steering wheel removed.
- Pull out steering column and tilt downward as far as it will go.
- Remove screws -1-(2x). Tightening torque: 2.8 Nm (25.2 in lb)
- Remove grip - 2-.
- Remove two Phillips-head screws -arrows-. Tightening torque: 0.6 Nm (5.4 in lb)
- Remove upper steering column switch trim -1-.
When installing, insert upper section into hooks on lower section, swivel downward and secure with screws
