Piston must be removed from the Flowrator Distributor Assembly for proper Expansion Valve operation.
To remove piston from Flowrator Distributor Assembly :
1. Loosen the 13/16 nut 1 TURN ONLY, relief pressure. No pressure loss
2. indicates possible leak.
3. Remove the nut and discard the black seal.
4. Remove the check piston and discard.
5. Use a tube cutter to remove the spin closure on the suction line.

GMC Wipers Electric Motor Replacement for OEM Hydraulic Wiper Motor

This is the installed electric motor conversion kit. Notice that the base plate is attached through the same bolt holes which held the hydraulic wiper motor in place. The pivot bolt for the Idler Arm Assembly is in the same position as the shaft of the hydraulic motor and the Linkage Arm (hidden at top) is the same length and configuration as that on the OEM motor, with one exception: the OEM driver and passenger wiper linkages were held to the linkage arm by latches; this design uses washers and cotter pins instead.

Ford Car & Car-Derived Vans Diesel & Petrol Engine Setting/Locking Tool Kit

VS1012 Setting/Locking Tool Kit covers timing belt replacement applications on Ford 1.8 diesels (including Di Endura) and 1.25, 1.4, 1.6, 1.7, 1.8 & 2.0 petrol twin cam (Zetec) 16v. engines in Ford cars and car-derived vans.

Ford DIESEL engines - 1.8D/TD/Di
These Ford 1.8D/TD/Di diesel engines use a common Crankshaft TDC Location Pin (VS101/2). Up to 1996, 1.8 diesels used Locking Pins to retain the timing position of both the camshaft and injection pump. From 1996 the pin retaining the camshaft was replaced by a Setting Plate (VS115/01), which locates into a slot in the end of the camshaft.

1993 Suzuki Swift Adjustments

Swift DOHC uses hydraulic lifters. No adjustments are required.
Samurai & Sidekick
1) Remove valve cover. Rotate engine until zero degree (TDC) timing mark of timing belt cover is in line with timing mark on crankshaft pulley. See Fig. 1.
2) Ensure cylinder No. 1 is at TDC on compression stroke. Remove distributor cap. On Samurai and Sidekick (TBI), ensure rotor is pointed upward at distributor hold-down bolt and to No. 1 terminal of distributor cap. On Sidekick (MPI), ensure rotor is at about 1 o’clock position and pointed to No. 1 terminal of distributor cap. If rotor is not as described, rotate crankshaft 360 degrees.

Follow these simple instructions to install American Airless Air-Free Inner tubes 24 AIRFREE TUBE INSTALLATION (SIMILAR STEP FOR 20 x 2–1/8 AND 8 x 1–1/4 AIRFREE TUBE INSTALLATION)) STEP 1Place wheel on flat surface,remove rubber rim strip and insert rim plug provided in valve stem hole. STEP 4Compress remaining rube into casing by pressing down and toward casing. STEP 7Continue to seat tube inside rim with hand pressure until 9 o clock and 3 o clock positions are reached.Before proceeding re- check bottom tire bead as in previous step. STEP 10 Use slot head screwdriver to lift and pry top tire bead into place 4-5 from original position.
