SECTION 1: PRE-INSTALLATION PRECAUTIONS:
Step 1: Remove the negative battery cable. Before removing the battery cable, verify that you have the “anti theft” radio code. It is usually located in your owner’s manual. If you cannot find the radio code, take your car to your local Honda dealer so that they can retrieve the code through the Honda computer network.
Step 2: Jack your car up, or put the car up in the air if you are working in a shop. Support your car with Jack Stands or Ramps if you are working on the ground. Never work under a car without some type of reliable support.

The Volvo I-Shift transmission is a single countershaft transmission with 12 forward gears and two reverse gears. Some vehicles have four reverse gears. The I-Shift is an automated mechanical transmission. The transmitted torque (both engine and braking) will be interrupted during gear shifting, in both driving and coasting conditions. There is no clutch pedal and the gearshift is controlled by the ergonomic gear selector. The I-Shift is available as an overdrive or direct drive transmission.

Clutch is a single, dry disc type using a hydraulically operated master cylinder and clutch housing mounted slave cylinder. On Land Cruiser, slave cylinder is adjustable. On all others, slave cylinder is nonadjustable. Clearance is automatically compensated by internal design of cylinder.
PEDAL HEIGHT & FREE PLAY
Rotate pedal stop bolt at top of pedal assembly to adjust pedal height. To adjust free play, loosen lock nut on master cylinder push rod and turn push rod in or out to specified free play. See CLUTCH PEDAL SPECIFICATIONS TABLE. Tighten lock nut.

The new model was previewed at the Sydney Motor Show, in 2004 and released in February 2005. Developed in Europe, Suzuki believe the new Swift will have wide international appeal., it’s available as a five door in Australia, with a 1.5 litre engine with a choice of either manual or automatic transmission It replaces the Suzuki Ignis in the Suzuki model line up.

Good performance Versatile design Build quality WORST Some torque steer evident Tailgate requires a lot of space to swing fully open sliding rear seats and a picnic table that doubles as the rear cargo floor. Additional safety features include front SRS airbags, lap/sash seat belts in all seating positions and front seat belt and buckle pretensioners. Passenger comfort is generally quite good in the new CRV. The front seats are slightly larger than the previous model and their shape provides an adequate amount of lateral support. Head and leg room is sufficient for adults in both the front and the rear. The walk through feature between the front seats has been maintained in the new model.
