1988-1998 Chevy/GMC 2WD C1500 P/U Ext. Cab V8 7″ Performance Suspension System

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Disconnect the negative terminal on the battery. Jack up the front end of the truck and support the frame rails with jack stands. NEVER WORK UNDER AN UNSUPPORTED VEHICLE! Remove the front tires.
2. Working from both sides of the truck, remove and discard the factory sway bar end links from the truck. Remove the sway bar from the truck and save with hardware.
3. Remove the bolts attaching the brake caliper to the spindle, save the hardware. Remove the caliper and tie it up and out of the way. DO NOT ALLOW THE CALIPER TO HANG BY THE BRAKE LINE! Remove the brake rotor and save. Remove the ABS / Dust Shield from the spindle and set them aside and save along with the hardware.

This kit has been specifically engineered for the 2000 to current GMT 820 series ½ Ton Sport Utility Vehicles. Please note that this Belltech lowering kit will lower these vehicles approximately 2 inches in front and 3 inches in the rear. We DO NOT RECOMMEND using this lowering kit on vehicles where other aftermarket suspension components have been previously installed. If the vehicle’s suspension has been modified from stock, please return it to its exact original configuration prior to installing this kit.

Preparing the Vehicle
1. Elevate the truck and place the frame securely on jack stands.
2. Remove the wheels.
3. Disconnect the sway bar links from each lower control arm.
4. Remove the shock absorbers.
NOTE: We recommend using a Bell Tech drop spindle or equivalent along with this installation

MN-126 Air Lift Instructions

If your vehicle is equipped with vibration dampers between the turns of the coil, it is necessary that these be removed before installing the air springs.Their function will be replaced by the air spring. Some mid-size GM vehicles have a solid cup located on the lower spring seat which will not allow the air line to exit the coil. It is necessary to removed this cup before installing the air spring.

1965-1972 Full-Size Ford DB1512M Installation Instructions

Installation of any component or kit should only be performed by persons experienced in the installation and proper operation of disc brake systems. It is also the responsibility of the person installing any brake component or kit to determine the suitability of the component or kit for that particular application.
NOTE: Before operating the vehicle after installation test the function of the brakes under controlled conditions. Make several stops in a safe area from low speed and gradually work up to nor- mal speeds. DO NOT DRIVE WITH UNTESTED BRAKES! Always utilize safety restraints when operating the vehicle.

VariShock 1960-1977 Ford/Mercury Bolt-In Front Coil-Over Conversion, QuickSet 1 Installation and Tuning Guide

Remove Factory Shock and Spring
Raise front end of car and secure with jack stands. Wheels must not be in contact with ground.
1. Remove wheels, making note of which side of vehicle they were removed from.
2. Unbolt lower shock mount from spring perch (Figure 3-1).
3. Unbolt upper shock mount from shock tower (Figure 3-2).
4. Remove shock and mount from vehicle (Figure 3-3).
5. Using a spring compressor, remove the coil spring. Follow the tool manufacturer’s instructions for proper use of
6. the spring compressor. Unbolt lower spring perch from control arm.

2005-2008 Ford F350 4×4 Level Lift Installation Instructions

Step 1:
Position truck on a flat surface and block the rear wheels to keep it stable. Starting on the driver side remove the stock shock absorber and retain hardware.

Ford 2″ Coil Spring Spacer Kit with Stud Extenders Installation Instructions

If your vehicle has factory 2 ½” studs holding the coil spring onto the axle assembly, you will not need to use the stud extensions.

Step:
1. Read complete instructions and check Bill of Materials before beginning.
2. Raise the front of the vehicle and support the frame so that the front tires just touch the ground and remove the front tires.
3. Remove the lower shock bolts and the sway bar end link attaching points.

Coil-Rite Kit Installation Instructions

NOTE 1: Some Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicles have a rubber sleeve inside the rear coil spring. This sleeve needs to be removed to allow installation of the air spring. It can be either cut out or pulled out with vise grips.

NOTE 2: On Volvo vehicles a 3/8″ hole will have to be drilled in the upper spring seat to allow the air line to pass through.
