Honda Ridgeline Lift Kit Instructions

Trucks with lift kits or leveling kits installed have a higher center of gravity. Aggressive direction changes may cause a tip over. Always drive carefully and obey the speed limit.
1. FRONT SUSPENSION—remove axle nut to prevent the CV joint form coming apart.
2. Remove three nuts from under plastic plugs under hood. These attach the upper strut to the truck
3. Place rags or some other cushioning over the axle, to prevent the sharp bottom of the strut from cutting the CV boot.
4. Remove the sway bar link from the truck. This will be replaced with the sway bar link included in the kit.
5. Remove the lower bolt of the strut and remove the strut assembly. Be careful not to cut the CV boot

99-02 Chevy/GMC K1500 4×4 6″ Suspension lift Installation Instructions

FRONT DISASSEMBLY:
1. With vehicle on flat level ground set the emergency brake and block the rear tires. Place floor jack under the lower control arm’s front cross member and raise vehicle. Place jack stands under frame rails, behind the front wheel wells then and lower the frame onto the stands.
2. Remove both front factory skid plates located in front of and under the front differential using 15mm socket.
WARNING: Be extremely careful when loading or unloading the torsion bars; there is a tremendous amount of stored energy (load pressure) in the bars. Keep your hands and body clear of the adjuster arm assembly and puller tool in case anything slips or breaks.

2000-2007 Classic Chevy/GMC 2WD C1500 P/U 7″ Performance Suspension System

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Disconnect the negative terminal on the battery. With the truck on level ground measure the trucks ride height from all four corners. Record the heights for use in the installation of the kit.
2. Jack up the front end of the truck and support the frame rails with jack stands. NEVER WORK UNDER AN UNSUPPORTED VEHICLE! Remove the front tires.
3. On both sides of the truck, remove the hardware securing the brake line to the spindle, discard hardware. Remove the bolts attaching the brake caliper to the spindle, save hardware. Remove the caliper and tie is up out of the way. DO NOT ALLOW THE CALIPER TO HANG BY THE BRAKE LINE! Remove the brake rotor. Remove the front sway bar end links and discard. Also, disconnect the ABS wire from the frame.

1988-1998 Chevy/GMC 2WD C1500 P/U Ext. Cab V8 7″ Performance Suspension System

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Disconnect the negative terminal on the battery. Jack up the front end of the truck and support the frame rails with jack stands. NEVER WORK UNDER AN UNSUPPORTED VEHICLE! Remove the front tires.
2. Working from both sides of the truck, remove and discard the factory sway bar end links from the truck. Remove the sway bar from the truck and save with hardware.
3. Remove the bolts attaching the brake caliper to the spindle, save the hardware. Remove the caliper and tie it up and out of the way. DO NOT ALLOW THE CALIPER TO HANG BY THE BRAKE LINE! Remove the brake rotor and save. Remove the ABS / Dust Shield from the spindle and set them aside and save along with the hardware.

Preparing the Vehicle
1. Elevate the truck and place the frame securely on jack stands.
2. Remove the wheels.
3. Disconnect the sway bar links from each lower control arm.
4. Remove the shock absorbers.
NOTE: We recommend using a Bell Tech drop spindle or equivalent along with this installation

2004-08 Ford F150 2 & 4WD Adjustable Upper Strut Front Lift/Leveling Kit Installation

Step 1: Measure current front ride height. Take a measurement from the bottom of the wheel/rim to the lip of the fender on each side of the vehicle. Write down measurements to help in determining ride height after new kit is installed.
Step 2: Position vehicle on a flat surface or automotive lift. Suspend front wheels, lifting by the frame with a floor jack or lift jack. Secure using jack stands and wheel chocks. Be sure engine is turned OFF and vehicle is in PARK. Remove tire/wheel assembly on ONE side of vehicle.

1965-1972 Full-Size Ford DB1512M Installation Instructions

Installation of any component or kit should only be performed by persons experienced in the installation and proper operation of disc brake systems. It is also the responsibility of the person installing any brake component or kit to determine the suitability of the component or kit for that particular application.
NOTE: Before operating the vehicle after installation test the function of the brakes under controlled conditions. Make several stops in a safe area from low speed and gradually work up to nor- mal speeds. DO NOT DRIVE WITH UNTESTED BRAKES! Always utilize safety restraints when operating the vehicle.

97 to present Ford F150 Front Airspring System Installation

1. Raise vehicle to a comfortable working height and support by the frame.
2. Remove coilsprings. Refer to factory shop manual for proper procedure.
3. Fit the lower airspring plate into the lower control arm. This plate will be positioned by the oem swaybar hole. The remaining attachment holes will need to be drilled into the control arm using the plate as a template.

Remove Factory Shock and Spring
Raise front end of car and secure with jack stands. Wheels must not be in contact with ground.
1. Remove wheels, making note of which side of vehicle they were removed from.
2. Unbolt lower shock mount from spring perch (Figure 3-1).
3. Unbolt upper shock mount from shock tower (Figure 3-2).
4. Remove shock and mount from vehicle (Figure 3-3).
5. Using a spring compressor, remove the coil spring. Follow the tool manufacturer’s instructions for proper use of
6. the spring compressor. Unbolt lower spring perch from control arm.
