THIS ANTI-SWAY BAR IS DESIGNED TO REPLACE THE FACTORY INSTALLED REAR SWAY BAR AND UPGRADE THE FRONT SWAY BAR BUSHINGS.
1. Remove the factory installed rear anti-sway bar from factory mounts and end links.
2. Lubricate the D-shaped poly bushings and install on the sway bar in approximately the same location as the factory mounts. To ease installation of bushing, use coined end of sway bar to spread bushing at split and slide bushing onto bar. Install using supplied U-plates and (more…)

Position truck on a flat surface and lift vehicle by the frame so that the front wheels are off the ground. Use a minimum 3 ton jack stands and place under frame for safety or a (2) two post lift if available. Make sure that the emergency brake is on and the rear wheels are blocked to prevent a rollout.

FRONT DISASSEMBLY:
1. With vehicle on flat level ground set the emergency brake and block the rear tires. Place floor jack under the lower control arm’s front cross member and raise vehicle. Place jack stands under frame rails, behind the front wheel wells then and lower the frame onto the stands.
2. Remove both front factory skid plates located in front of and under the front differential using 15mm socket.
WARNING: Be extremely careful when loading or unloading the torsion bars; there is a tremendous amount of stored energy (load pressure) in the bars. Keep your hands and body clear of the adjuster arm assembly and puller tool in case anything slips or breaks.

2000-2007 Classic Chevy/GMC 2WD C1500 P/U 7″ Performance Suspension System

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Disconnect the negative terminal on the battery. With the truck on level ground measure the trucks ride height from all four corners. Record the heights for use in the installation of the kit.
2. Jack up the front end of the truck and support the frame rails with jack stands. NEVER WORK UNDER AN UNSUPPORTED VEHICLE! Remove the front tires.
3. On both sides of the truck, remove the hardware securing the brake line to the spindle, discard hardware. Remove the bolts attaching the brake caliper to the spindle, save hardware. Remove the caliper and tie is up out of the way. DO NOT ALLOW THE CALIPER TO HANG BY THE BRAKE LINE! Remove the brake rotor. Remove the front sway bar end links and discard. Also, disconnect the ABS wire from the frame.

LIFT INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Disconnect the negative terminal on the battery. Jack up the front end of the truck and support the frame, at the front frame rails, with jack stands. NEVER WORK UNDER AN UNSUPPORTED VEHICLE. Remove the front tires.
2. Remove the brake calipers and tie them up out of the way. DO NOT ALLOW THE CALIPERS TO HANG FROM THE BRAKE LINES! Remove the A.B.S. lines from the plastic clips that are connecting them to the rubber brake hoses. Remove the brake line bracket from the frame and save the hardware. Remove the plastic clips that hold the hard brake lines from the top of the frame and then the brake lines from the clips. Carefully bend the hard line forward approximately seventeen to eighteen inches.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Park and secure the vehicle on a level hard surface. Block the rear tires to avoid accidental movement.
2. Remove the track rod bolt on the driver side at the frame mount. This is a solid bar that runs from the axle on the passenger side (PS) to the frame on the driver side (DS).
3. Raise the front of the vehicle so the axle is hanging freely and the tires are just off the ground. Support the vehicle with jack stands under the frame rail about 3” behind the front spring.
