1997-2003 Chevrolet C5 Corvette High Flow C5 Fuel Pump Module
September 18th, 2008 · No Comments
This high flow fuel pump module fits 1997 to 2003 model year Chevrolet Corvettes. During the 2003
model year GM made a change to the Corvette fuel system. This module will not fit the later 2003
vehicles. The 2003 model year C5 fuel system change over occurred on November 25, 2002. If your
car was built on or after this day, you have the newer fuel system and this module will not work in your
vehicle. If your car is a 2003 model year car and the last six (6) digits of VIN are 114930 or higher, you
have the newer fuel system and this module will not fit your vehicle. Look at page 3 of the instructions
for a picture of the 1997 to early 2003 model year fuel tank design (as seen from under the vehicle).

2004-2006 Pontiac GTO LPE High Flow Fuel Pump Upgrade Kit
September 10th, 2008 · No Comments
The 2004 to 2006 GTO fuel system uses a method that is referred to as a “return side jet” to fill the fuel pump canister. This means the fuel from the fuel pressure regulator return is being used to create the high velocity jet that fills the pump canister. The pump itself, like most modern fuel systems, actually pumps the fuel out of the canister to the engine and the jet refills the canister. This means that if you are using all or almost all of the fuel that the pump can deliver, there is little or no fuel returned to the canister by the pressure regulator. Since there is nothing left to drive the jet, the jet is not able to refill the canister and the pump will eventually run dry. For this reason it is even more important to have a pump capable of delivering more fuel than is needed on the GTO.

This post is written in response to the number of times that TDI owners complain about “lack of power”. The Multi-Tester plus/pro software cassette is the component that gives the diagnostic equipment its unique test characteristics: All data required to make the test system operate are stored on the software cassette. The software cassette can be easily replaced enabling the Multi-Tester plus/pro to be rapidly adapted to the trouble-shooting job at hand. These Trouble-Shooting Instructions describe how to use the equipment on Magneti Marelli - Weber fuel injection systems type IAW. Multi-Tester plus/pro checks all input and output signals that have bearing on the control system and can also diagnose a faulty control unit.

Land Rover Defender Workshop Manual

The following information provides basic precautions which must be observed if fuel is to be handled safely. It also outlines the other areas of risk which must not be ignored. This information is issued for basic guidance only, and in any case of doubt, appropriate enquiries should be made of your local Fire Officer or Fire Department. Fuel vapour is highly flammable and in confined spaces is also very explosive and toxic and when diluted with air becomes a readily ignitable mixture. The vapour is heavier than air and will always fall to the lowest level. It can readily be distributed throughout a workshop by air current, consequently, even a small spillage of fuel is very dangerous.
