2006 and newer General Motors trucks have a larger cab mount bolt than in previous years. You will need to reuse your factory cab mount bolts when installing this kit on those trucks.

Operations Quality Manual

This Operations Quality Manual is an ECG publication written in consultation and collaboration with the quality departments of the following car manufacturers: BMW, Daimler AG, Ford, General Motors, Mitsubishi, Nissan, SEAT, Toyota and Volvo.

The idea of establishing common quality standards for the whole industry was born from a commitment shared by the logistics service providers and the manufacturers to improve operational efficiencies by reducing duplication of activities due to the lack of harmonization. Indeed, the standardization of practices will also lead to a reduction in the damage rates and a more rapid and effective handling of the cars.

VATS / PASSLOCK / TRANSPONDER Universal Alarm Bypass Module

This module lets you bypass virtually any type of vehicle factory anti-theft system on the market today to remotely start your vehicle without permanently disabling the vehicle factory theft system.

In 1985, General Motors came out with their first Vehicle Anti Theft System known as VATS which uses a resistor pellet in the key. Since this time, other manufacturers have been following suit with their own versions. Most use some form of a resistor in the key. Others use a transponder — a small device in the key which can communicate a high security code to the vehicle upon demand.

· The Lingenfelter Performance Engineering TRG-001 58x to 24x Trigger Conversion Module incorporates ?????????..
· The TRG-001 allows the installation of Gen IV GM V8 engines with the 58x crankshaft trigger wheel and the 4x camshaft timing gear in earlier vehicles designed to accept the 24x crankshaft trigger wheel and the 1x camshaft trigger wheel without having to take the engine apart to change the cam timing gear or the crankshaft reluctor wheel.
· Plug-and-play design connects directly to your existing wiring harness and to the factory engine sensors. No additional wiring for the conversion module is needed (except on early Gen IV V8 engines that will need a camshaft sensor extension harness).
· Fully encapsulated (potted) construction for increased durability.
· Rated for operation at up to 185 degrees F (85 degrees C).

Fortune magazine’s February 20, 2006 edition featured this headline on its cover: “The Tragedy of General Motors” and a story of GM’s woes by Carol J. Loomis. Two weeks later, Fortune’s next edition on March 6, 2006 had this headline on its cover: “How Toyota Does It: The Triumph of the Prius.” This stark contrast is typical of the stories circulating in the media these days.
