Congratulations on purchasing the finest hood hinge kit made. We are very proud of this kit, and you will be too! We have tried to make the installation as easy as possible. Most of the kit is pre-assembled to help you out. You will need tools, a drill, and 1/8”, 1/4”, and 3/8” bits, and a round file.

1. When the hood closes with the new hinge, it locks down with the stock hood latch. The safety latch, or secondary latch is no longer needed, so remove it.

The siren speaker wires must exit through the bottom of the siren. The siren wire hole is also the drainage hole. Improper mounting will damage the driver and void the warranty. Sirens produces extremely loud emergency warning tones! Exposure to these tones without proper and adequate hearing protection, could cause ear damage and/or hearing loss!

Before installing your supercharger hood, it is necessary to check the clearance of the supercharger itself and the aftermarket hood. You may have to perform some small modifications to the supercharger in order for the hood to fit correctly. All motors do not sit at the same height, depending on the motor mounts. Depending on which hood you have purchased, there can be small differences in the way that the hood will fit. On most hoods, there are two major areas that can be of risk to cracking or otherwise damaging the hood.

Basic Steps
Removing the bumper fascia
Remove the bumper
Removing OEM intercooler and piping.
Install new intercooler, bumper and piping.
Trim and Re-install bumper fascia

Replace engine oil
Replace engine oil filter
Inspect drive belts
Inspect cooling system
CHASSIS AND BODY MAINTENANCE
Inspect brake, clutch and automatic trans-axle fluids
Inspect manual trans-axle gear oil
Inspect power steering fluid and lines
Inspect brake, clutch and exhaust systems
Inspect steering gear and linkage, axle and suspension parts and front driveshafts
Inspect wheel alignment (if necessary rotate tyres and balance wheels)
Inspect brake pads, rotors and other brake components
Inspect brake linings, drums and other brake components
Inspect foot brake, parking brake and clutch
Lubricate locks, hinges & hood latch
Inspect seat belts, buckles, retractors, anchors & adjuster
Clean or replace ventilation filter
Replace brake fluid (Severe conditions only)
