Piston must be removed from the Flowrator Distributor Assembly for proper Expansion Valve operation.
To remove piston from Flowrator Distributor Assembly :
1. Loosen the 13/16 nut 1 TURN ONLY, relief pressure. No pressure loss
2. indicates possible leak.
3. Remove the nut and discard the black seal.
4. Remove the check piston and discard.
5. Use a tube cutter to remove the spin closure on the suction line.

1999-2005 GM-All Mini Vans, Astro & Venture Secure Idle Installation

“SECURE IDLE” is an ignition switch bypass device designed to provide all the electrical functions that the OEM ignition switch normally provides. For proper operation and long term performance, do not deviate from the wire connection instruction. For each wire connection, remove approximately one half inch of insulation from the OEM wire, but DO NOT cut the wire into. Cutting the wires causes high resistance and a possible failure point. Strip app. one half inch of insulation from the end of the “SECURE IDLE” wires to be attached to the OEM wires. Wrap the “SECURE IDLE” wire around the bare area of the OEM wire and solder the connection. Tape the connection thoroughly after it cools.

1994–1996 Ford Econoline Intelligent Lift Interlock System (ILIS) - Installation Instructions

To aid in installation, first gain access to the connection points. Remove the lower dash panel below the steering column and the engine cover. Also, gain access to the lift power switch and the lift door switch circuits. These are usually accessible in the front control panel. It is not necessary to cut any Ford wires during the installation of the ILIS wire harness.

Audi A4 Brake Installation Manual

PREPARATION FOR INSTALLATION
1. Be sure that the vehicle is parked on level concrete and the parking brake is on.
2. Place stops in front of and behind rear tires.
3. Consult owner’s manual for proper lifting and wheel removal procedures before lifting front of vehicle.
4. Place jack stands under vehicle for added stability.
5. Remove wheel.
