Remove all items from the packing tube. You should have the following before beginning:
* (2) Gas springs (RT-QL-170-A6A) - Be sure to cycle them a few times before installing.
* (4) #2-3/16″ Multi-grip rivets (used on hood brackets)
* (2) ball-studs and washers each with a locking nut.
* (2) mounting brackets
* Printed Color Instructions
* Gas Spring locking clips - (Already installed in the gas spring ball-ends - Remove before assembly)

2008 MITSUBISHI LANCER GTS Overview

The all-new Lancer is larger in every dimension except length, where it has lost 1.5 centimetres. It rides on a brand-new platform shared with the new Outlander, which provides a 56% increase in torsional rigidity and 50% more bending rigidity. For the time being, the front-drive Lancer is offered as a sedan with a choice of three trim levels: DE, ES and GTS.
In the works for the 2009 model-year are a Ralliart version, a station wagon, and a larger, 2.4-litre engine for the GTS. The very sporty Evolution with 291 horsepower is available for the first time in Canada.

Mitsubishi Lancer VR-X Sportswagon Road Test Report

Becomes expensive when fully optioned Mitsubishi has introduced the CH range of upgrades from the Lancer sedan into the wagon line-up which was last on sale in Australia in late 2003. The frontal styling from the sedan has been adopted and the VR-X Sportswagon has a sportier look compared to the base ES specced version, with larger cut outs in the grille, and a front air dam with fog lights and side skirts. The external mirrors are colour coded to the rest of the body and darkened glass [Mitsubishi call Privacy glass] is from the rear doors back.
