Comptech recommends that you read through these instructions before starting installation and that you use an Acura Factory Shop Manual to supplement these instructions. All Comptech products are intended to be installed by a professional installer. Always use jackstands to support the vehicle when a car lift is not available. Rear:
1. Raise and properly support back of car. I used a long metal bar that I had which reached across from one of the lower A-arms to the other and jacked up in the middle. I then put jack stands under the rear jacking points using jacking pucks.
2. Remove wheels
3. On the passenger’s side of the car you will need to remove the brake pipe bracket so that the suspension can be lowered. It is attached by 2 10mm nuts.

Installing rivet nuts
1) Assemble rivet nut install tool as shown in figure 1
2) Place assembly into hole in frame so that the rivet nut sits flush to frame
3) Use wrench to hold rivet nut install tool and tighten bolt (see fig.2)
4) Make sure rivet nut stays flush while tightening bolt.
5) Tighten bolt to 30 ft-lbs (41N-m)

This kit includes new braided stainless steel brake lines. Installation of these lines requires the entire brake system to be bled following the completed installation and prior to operating the vehicle. Consult your owner’s manual for the proper brake fluid to use for your vehicle. Fluid is not included in this kit.
