Tools Needed: 10, 12, 14 sockets and wrenches. You will also need a Oxygen Sensor removal tool or 22mm wrench or socket to remove the stock Oxygen sensors from the catalytic converter and install them in the new Jackson Racing header. Most of these tools are available at your local hardware or auto parts store.
IF YOU ARE NOT A COMPETENT MECHANIC, DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS INSTALLATION! ALLOW AT LEAST ONE HOUR FOR THE EXHAUST SYSTEM TO COOLBEFORE DOING ANY EXHAUST SYSTEM INSTALLATION WORK.

Take care when removing all mechanical fasteners - including nuts, bolts, washers, clips or pins - that secure or support your motorcycle’s stock exhaust system. Replace all damaged, twisted, cross-threaded, corroded or broken fasteners, clips or supports prior to installing this Hard-Krome exhaust system on your motorcycle.

1. Disconnect vehicle negative battery cable.
2. Remove rear O2 sensors and mark each so that they can be installed in the same location.
Note: O2 sensors forward of the catalytic converters will not be affected or removed.
3. Carefully cut the factory sheathing from the O2 sensor wires approximately 2 inches from the connector side to expose the wires.
Note: Nothing will be done to the two white wires.
