Front Strut Assembly Instruction
1. Remove strut assembly from vehicle. Disassemble the strut and spring assembly. (WARNING! Strut assembly is under extreme spring pressure. Use of proper tools and a Spring Compressor is highly recommended). Remove dust cover from strut body. Remove the bump stops. Clean Strut throughly.
2. Take 2 rubber O-rings and place over the strut body about 3 to 4 inches from the top, and 2 inches apart, (check through all the O-rings to see which one fits your strut body the best. Usually the O-ring that is 3/16 inch thick fits onto most struts). Slide a coil-over sleeve over the strut body/O-ring assembly, (If the sleeve seems too loose, try using the next larger O-ring. The RetroGauge™ Mini-Tach is designed for use with a standard ignition coil as factory fitted to 1967 and 1968 Ford Mustangs. For aftermarket ignition systems please read the important application note at the bottom of the page.
INSTALLATION
1. Disconnect the battery negative terminal from the vehicle to completely isolate the electrical system.
2. Remove the instrument cluster according the to the workshop manual (several internet resources are also available to cover this procedure)

1997-2000 F250 Light Duty Pickup Bracketron Phone Mount Installation Instructions

When installing in a vehicle with an Auto Climate Control you will not be drilling or using the included screws. See step (3). When re-installing the auto climate control unit in the cavity you will need to apply some downward pressure on the unit so the centering pins and four factory screw holes will line up. Install the four (4) screws that secure the auto climate control then tighten. The mount will be nice and tight.
