We can not be responsible for problems resulting from faulty installation. Follow the instructions carefully and work slowly and cautiously. Do not exert excessive force on any part of the mechanism or the screen — they are plastic and may break Your windscreen shipped with a protective paper/film covering on both sides. To protect it from scratches, leave the covering on until you are ready to mount the screen on the mechanism.

Relieving fuel pressure
a) Remove the fuel fill cap.
b) On models equipped with a 6mm service bolt. (illustrated below) If your vehicle is not equipped with a 6mm service bolt, then proceed to step c.
i) Use a box end wrench on the 6mm service bolt on top of the fuel filter or fuel rail, while holding the special banjo bolt with another wrench.
ii) Place a rag or shop towel over the 6mm service bolt.
iii) Slowly loosen the 6mm service bolt one complete turn.
iv) Leave service bolt loose until all pressure has been relieved.
v) Tighten service bolt to 10 lbf-ft.

1. Remove the factory plastic tailgate cap.
A. Remove any tape residue from the truck by wrapping a cloth shop towel or terry cloth rag tightly around knuckles and push firmly against remaining tape.
B. Remove any remaining glue or dirt with Naptha, Paint Thinner or Adhesive Remover. Then clean surface with Isopropyl alcohol and wipe clean.
C. If you have purchased the gray smooth paintable Tailgate Cap go to step 2; if you have purchased the black textured Tailgate Cap go to step 3.

Someone who has a basic knowledge of automobile repair and modification and is familiar with and comfortable with working on their vehicle can accomplish the mechanical installation of this kit using common tools and procedures. However, this kit is designed to allow you to custom fit the fuel lines and components to your application, and will require that you cut hoses to fit and drill holes for fuel pressure regulator mounting, junction blocks, etc. If you do not feel comfortable with any of the steps listed below, please consult a qualified professional installer. Make sure to read the instructions provided with the supplied fuel rail and fuel pressure regulator. These will be referenced throughout this instruction sheet.

1. Exercise extreme caution and common sense when working around gasoline. Extinguish all open flame or other sources of ignition and be sure to perform the following steps in an area with adequate ventilation. Personal protection in the form of eye protection and fuel resistant gloves are strongly recommended.
2. On the right (passenger) side of the intake manifold, locate the fuel pressure test port. CAUTION! The fuel in the system is under pressure! Relieve the pressure in the fuel system by depressing the check valve with a screwdriver and collecting the fuel with a shop towel.

1. Start the supercharger installation by installing the upgraded fuel pump. Ensure that the fuel tank is less than 1/8” full (preferably empty) by checking the fuel level gauge. Even though the gauge may read empty, some residual fuel will be present in the tank. Exercise extreme caution and common sense when working around gasoline.
