Preparation:
a) Set/Lock rear parking brake, turn gas petcock to the Off position and stand bike upright so it is sitting on the rear grab bar. Ensure bike is stable to prevent falling over during installation.
Installation:
a) One Top Slotted Hole Mount:
Press Skid Plate against the bike to temporarily hold in place.
From the bottom side install (1) #4 Washer and (1) #3 Bolt.
From the top side install (1) #2 Hook
Loosely tighten to hold skid plate in position.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Remove the plastic lower front skid plate and the plastic upper bumper guard.
2. Remove the two bumper mounting bolts from the horizontal legs of the bumper.
3. Install the U-Clamps at the front of the horizontal bumper mounting legs from the outside, per the illustration.
4. Install the mount per the illustration by reinstalling the original bolts at the back and installing the provided 1/4″ x 1-3/4″ bolts, 1/4″ flat washers and 1/4″ nylock nuts through the mount and U-Clamps.

Preparation:
a) Lock rear parking brake on quad, turn gas petcock to Off and stand quad upright on the rear grab bar. Make sure vehicle is secure and will not fall over while installing your new skid plate.
b) Remove OEM bolts mounting the OEM Frame Cover to the Frame using a 10mm socket wrench. You may discard the OEM mounting bolts and plastic frame cover.

Installation requires a professional mechanic. Prior to beginning, inspect the vehicles steering, driveline, and brake systems, paying close attention to the suspension link arms and bushings, anti-sway bars and bushings, tie rod ends, pitman arm, ball joints and wheel bearings. Also check the steering sector-to-frame and all suspension-to-frame attaching points for stress cracks. The overall vehicle must be in excellent working condition; repair or replace all worn parts. Read instructions several times before starting. Be sure you have all needed parts and know where they install. Read each step completely as you go.

The rear bumper that holds the towing receiver will be modified. It is recommended that the rear bumper no longer be used for towing. Save all of your hardware and plastic clips for reassembly.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Block wheels for safety
2. Pop the rear hatch (need to do this before disconnecting the battery)
3. Disconnect battery, remove negative first, then positive.
4. Remove skid plate, and retain hardware.

FRONT INSTALLATION
1. Park the vehicle on a clean, level surface and block the rear wheels for safety.
2. Safely raise the front of vehicle and support with jack stands for safety.
3. Remove the wheels.
4. Measure and record the length of the exposed thread on the torsion bar adjusting bolts for later reference.
