00-Up Honda S2000 Cold Air Intake Installation Guide

Removal of Factory Intake
1. Turn the ignition OFF and disconnect the vehicle’s negative battery cable.
2. Unclip the six over center clamps, then remove the air cleaner lid.
3. Remove the air injection pump hose from the stock intake tube.
4. Remove the crank case vent hose from the stock intake tube.
5. Loosen the hose clamp at the throttle body, then remove the intake tube and filter.
6. Remove the solenoid from the lower air cleaner assembly.
7. Unclip the wire harness from the lower air cleaner assembly.
8. Unclip the vacuum hose from the rear of the lower air cleaner assembly.
9. Remove the three bolts that secure the lower air cleaner assembly.
10. Remove the lower air cleaner assembly.
11. Remove the stock rubber hose from the crank case vent on the cam cover and from the hard line.

Congratulations on your purchase of the Honda 750 Ace & Spirit Thunder Air Filter Kit. We’re sure you’ll be pleased with the new level of performance you’ll experience. This kit should be installed on bikes with After Market Exhaust Pipes only and jetted, (jet kit not included). We recommend that an experienced mechanic perform this conversion. Use the appropriate Honda service manual for reference to complete jetting of carbs. Remember, gasoline is extremely flammable and can be explosive under certain conditions. Work in a well-ventilated area and clean up any spills immediately. Check for leaks before riding.

Carb Instructions

INSTALLATION:
1. Switch vehicle ignition to the off position.
2. Loosen the stock rubber grommet hose clamp that connects the stock intake tube to the throttle body. Pry loose the radiator hose retaining clip with a flat head screwdriver next to the fan shroud. Detach the stock intake tube along with the rubber grommet from the throttle body.
3. On the other end, loosen the hose clamp that connects the stock air duct to the mass flow sensor. Pull and remove the stock air duct from the mass flow sensor and away from the engine compartment.

IRS Polyurethane Subframe Bushing Kit

Thank you for purchasing Maximum Motorsports’ Polyurethane IRS Subframe Bushing Kit. This kit is intended for use on the 1999-2004Cobra IRS subframe. The polyurethane bushings in this kit are considerably less compliant than the stock rubber IRS subframe bushings. These stiffer bushings virtually eliminate displacement of the IRS subframe relative to the chassis, thus improving stability and predictability of the car during acceleration, braking and cornering. The polyurethane still provides very good noise isolation. 1979-98 cars fitted with IRS require MMIRSU-2 bushing kit.
