Verify that the Brake System does not have any malfunctions. If the system is found to be malfunctioning verify that the malfunction will not interfere with the exchange process. Perform all necessary repairs prior to exchanging.
1. Verify that the vehicle engine is off.
2. Verify new and used fluid tank levels. Add new fluid or empty used as required.
3. Verify that all Switches and Attention Lights on the BFX control panel are OFF.
4. Connect red (positive) clamp on power cable to red (positive) terminal on vehicle battery.

All doors can be locked or unlocked simultaneously using either front door. Turning driver-side door lock once will unlock driver-side door only, twice will unlock all doors. Door locks can be controlled by switches on driver-side or passenger-side doors within vehicle, or by operating each door lock with key or lock knob. Front door(s) cannot be manually locked when key is in ignition switch.

1995 Volvo 850 Keyless Entry System

850 models with central locking and factory installed alarm system can be equipped with a remote-controlled keyless entry system. Transmitter has a range of about 5 meters. Remote control cannot be used to lock vehicle if ignition switch is in position I or II. Upon receiving signals from transmitter, receiver unit transmits locking or unlocking signals to central locking relay. Central locking relay switches interior lighting on and off, and transmits signals to alarm relay to activate and deactivate alarm. Receiver includes a memory which can store coded radio signals from a maximum of 3 different transmitters. Information is retained in memory even if battery is disconnected.

Call me fickle, but since the graceful P1800 ended production in the early 70’s I haven’t fallen head over heals for Volvo styling. That is until recently. If my newfound enthusiasm for their current model line-up is any indication of the demographic Volvo is trying to target, they’re on the right track. Volvo is finally producing cars that are as much about style and performance as they are about safety and reliability. The S60, introduced this spring as a 2002 model, builds on the radically styled S80 sedan and V70 wagon theme. Its lines are fluid and its stance athletic.

We probably recognise them when we see them, but what are the features, the differences and the legal aspects? l The law There is legislation that separates scooters and powered wheelchairs in to categories Class 2 vehicles and Class 3 vehicles. Technically they are still called invalid carriages ! CLASS 2 Class 2 vehicles, which are sometimes referred to as pavement vehicles , are designed for use on the footway, which is defined as: a portion of a carriageway that is set aside for use only by pedestrians .
