42Draft Designs VW M10×1 Oil Pressure Relocation Kit (42-004) Installation Instructions

1. Locate the oil filter flange on your motor and find the stock oil pressure sender. To access this location fully, certain emissions devices or the intake manifold may need to be removed. Remove the wiring harness from the stock oil pressure sender and move aside. Using a 24mm deep socket, unscrew the sender.
2. Install the included M10×1 adaptor in the stock oil pressure sender port. Start threads by hand and tighten snug using an open end wrench. Do not over tighten this adaptor! Install one end of the 12” extension hose and use an open end wrench to tighten.

VW/AUDI Big Gear Knob

For cars with a THREADED gear knob (early Audi,VW,Seat to approx 2005) follow the instructions from point 2
For cars with a SLOTTED gearknob (approx 2005 on) follow the instructions from point 8
1. If fitting to an Audi TT, first using a T20 screwdriver, undo all 8 of the T20 screws surrounding the gear stick. Other cars with a screw on gearknob, skip to point 2….then lift the ring away to expose the rubber underneath
2. Unscrew the existing gearknob… ….and remove the rubber gaitor and aluminium spacer (if applicable) from the gear stick.

Chevrolet Tracker Suzuki Sidekick/Vitara Years 99-2004 Hardtop Installation Instruction

Refer to your Owner’s Manual for instructions on lowering and removing the canvas top. ALL hardware for your soft top should be removed. This includes the trim around the body. Some of the screws from the Canvas Top Hardware will be used in the Hardtop installation, so keep them available.

GM Gen III & IV V8 Oil Cooler Adapter Block Kit

Clean the block mounting surface area and then install the supplied gasket and oil cooler adapter block. Install the oil cooler adapter bolts and tighten the bolts to 106 in-lbs (12 Nm).

Use thread sealing compound on the sensor or sensor plug threads along with the adapter block bolt threads. If you are using this adapter on a vehicle that does not have an oil temperature sensor or has the sensor mounted elsewhere, then you should plug the oil temperature sensor port with the supplied M12 plug and crush washer. If you are not using this adapter to supply oil to a turbocharger, supercharger or other application then you should plug the 1/8” NPT port with the supplied fitting.

H2 Hummer Roof Rack Assembly/Mounting Instructions (6 Foot)

1) Before beginning assembly/installation, please check to make sure you have received all of the contents as listed above.
2) Lay the roof rack halves upside down on a level, non-marking/non-scratching surface and align. Join the two halves together using the provided 5/16” X 18 X 1_ ” stainless hex bolts and Nylock nuts (7 each). Tighten securely. Before installing the Nylock nuts, lubricate the bolt threads with grease or a similar anti-seize lubricant.

PowerStep Lighting Kit Installation Guide

The lighting kit requires that you have the newer Power Step control module. If you don’t have the correct module, the correct part number is listed on the previous page. Remove Power Step harness from control module, cut cable tie and remove plug of center pin slot. Insert metal terminal of the Lighting Kit harness into center pin slot of connector. Make sure the terminal fully engages.

Bosch VE pump head reinstallation how-to

I will show you how to put your Bosch VE type injection pump head back on the pump body and how to install all the parts inside the pump. You most likely had leaking seals on your pump and pulled the head off to put a new seal on and everything fell inside and now you have a mess on your hands. This how-to shows the pump head and associated parts only. The injection quantity parts have been show in other threads.

BMW Tightening Torques

The maximum tightening torques are: Only applicable to shaft screws with metric standard and fine threads acc. to DIN 13, sheet 13 and nuts with height of 0,8 x d acc. to DIN 934 and only for a µ total = 0.125 (screws phosphatized, screws untreated or galvanized. Lubrication condition: unlubricated and also oiled). For cadmium-plated screws or nuts (µ total = 0.08 to 0.09) the tightening torque with screw material at the same level of utilization ca. must be 30% less than shown in the table. The values specified in this table apply to all screw connections conforming to the aforementioned conditions.
