GM Service Technical College provides First Responder Guides (FRG) and Quick Reference (QR) Sheets free of charge to First Responders. FRGs and QRs can be displayed in a classroom as long as they are represented as GM information and are not modified in any way.
The intent of this guide is to provide information to help you respond to emergency situations involving the 2008 GMC Yukon, 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2009 GMC Sierra, 2009 Chevrolet Silverado & 2009 Cadillac Escalade Two-mode vehicles in as safe a manner as possible. 2001 LIGHT TRUCK INCOMPLETE VEHICLE MANUAL

The cover of this manual identifies the four incomplete vehicle configurations for which compliance representations are contained in this manual. Also, a label is affixed to the cover which includes the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) for the specific vehicle to which this manual belongs. The label identifies the following information which pertains only to the vehicle with the corresponding VIN.

LoJack Stolen Vehicle Recovery System Owners Manual

The LoJack Stolen Vehicle Recovery System uses a small transmitter that’s hidden in your vehicle. After police enter a stolen vehicle report in the Statewide Law Enforcement computer system, LoJack is activated and begins to send a signal that police can track using LoJack Police Tracking Computers to recover your stolen vehicle.
1. After you report your stolen vehicle to police, a signal from a radio tower activates the LoJack in your vehicle.
2. The LoJack unit emits a uniquely coded signal.
3. The Police Tracking Computer receives the coded signal coming from your vehicle. That signal quickly pinpoints the vehicle’s location and leads police to a rapid recovery – many times within a few hours.

1995 Volvo 850 2.3 Turbo Engine

Engine may be identified by using Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) stamped on a metal pad, located near lower left corner of windshield. The sixth and seventh character identifies engine model. Engine identification number, located on left side of cylinder block below cylinder head, may be required when ordering replacement parts.

1995 Suzuki Sidekick AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS Hydra-Matic 3L30

Transmission is identified by identification plate attached to transmission case, located on left side, above oil pan. Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) may also be used in identifying transmission. VIN locations are at top left of instrument panel and driver’s-side door post. VIN is used to ensure correct application of component parts and assemblies.

Auto Dismantlers Guide to Recycling Mercury Switches

Mercury in Maine’s environment is a problem, particularly for infants and young children. The Environmental Protection Agency estimates that 630,000 infants are born every year in the United States with unsafe levels of mercury in their blood.

Mercury emissions from human activity contribute to the problem. Sources include commonly used products that contain mercury. For example, fluorescent lamps sold in the U.S. in 2001 are reported to contain over 9 tons of mercury. Mercury is released when the lamps break, as inevitably happens when they are put in the trash. Although each lamp has only a few milligrams of mercury, over two million of them are sold in Maine every year.

OP-COM IMMOBILISER-II Manual Guide
