1. DISCONNECT NEGATIVE (-) BATTERY CABLE.
2. Disconnect electrical connectors to throttle body & factory intake tube. See Fig#1
3. Using a 10mm socket, remove two bolts holding throttle cable bracket to intake manifold. Retain bolts for later use. See Fig#2
4. Remove throttle cable(s) from throttle body.
5. Using a Phillips screwdriver, loosen hose clamp on factory intake tube & remove tube from throttle body & air box. See Fig#3

NOTE 1: Some Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicles have a rubber sleeve inside the rear coil spring. This sleeve needs to be removed to allow installation of the air spring. It can be either cut out or pulled out with vise grips.
NOTE 2: On Volvo vehicles a 3/8″ hole will have to be drilled in the upper spring seat to allow the air line to pass through.

Attaching motor to linkage assembly
The motors must be attached to the linkage assemblies before continuing the installation process.
Steps 1-3 for Heavy Duty Trucks only! For all other vehicles skip to Step 4.
HD - Short Bed: Remove forward most brake cable guide.
HD - Long Bed: Remove first and third brake cable guide.
